Von Schrötter 74. Lightly toned and unusually well preserved. Some scratches on the obverse, otherwise, good extremely fine.


This attractive 2/3 Taler (Gulden) was minted immediately after the coronation of Friedrich III, Elector and Duke of Prussia, as King Friedrich I on January 18, 1701. The obverse legend already refers to him as King in Prussia.
